Try to make sure each meal contains a quick energy food, like a fruit or bread, a medium time energy food like pasta, and a protein. Proteins metabolize slowly. That way you will always have a source of energy as the different foods enter the bloodstream. It won't keep your stomach from feeling empty, but it will keep you from hitting a sugar low and craving sweets. Or it should, in theory.
