Fatfree milk?

What type of milk do you drink? Wouldn't it be wise to drink fatfree milk?

I usually drink fatfree anyway. I was always given it as a kid, and now it is the only kind that I can drink.

Do they put anything in fatfree milk? I know some "light" foods often have chemicals in them to make up for the lost flavor and such.

No, I think fat free milk is just milk with all the fat removed. And for those of us that really prefer cream, all the flavor, too.

I think it the flavor is something you have to get used to. I wouldn't even be able to eat my cereal in the morning if there was whole milk in it.

Are you saying that after a while skim milk starts to taste not only normal but better?

I think it's just a matter of what you are used to. I know some people who stopped drinking milk, and now they can't stand it. I think the body loses the ability to digest the milk (and milk fat in whole milk) once you stop drinking it.

Someone told me that after a while they still liked cream, but regular whole milk tasted like grease to them. Fat-free isn't so bad on things like cereal, where there is a lot of flavor anyway, but I don't like just drinking it.
