I'm a vegetable nut. I really like things like green beans and corn and carrots. I prefer them smothered in butter, but I'll eat them plain, too.

When I'm not eating chocolate, I like to eat a lot of fruits. Unfortunately they can be pretty fattening.

I like to eat these vegetables you can buy at the grocery store frozen. I think they are called simply steam, or something like that. You just put them in the microwave and they steam, because there is water in the bag they come in. I really like them. They taste great.

I eat lots and lots of steamed veggies. You can buy the frozen veggies and just put them in the microwave in a plastic bag with alittle water. I also eat alot of seafood and fish. Probably 3 times a week for the fish the rest is usually chicken. I stay away from red meat unless its a special occation just because the fat content is so high.

You can really do alot with the veggies I spice them to the hilt.
My 14 yr old son eats them too so if it pleases a 14 yr old boy you know its gotta taste half way decently

Is you salad boring?

here's my recipe for a great satisying salad I eat almost every day.
Ahead of time, boil several boneless skinless chicken breasts, chop and put in a ziplock bag in the freezer.
The salad:
Chop up romaine or green leafy lettuce, or use the bagged Spring mix if you like it.
heap in a bowl, top with two tbsp of slivered almonds, some shredded carrots, sliced mushrooms and/ or 1/4 chopped apple.
Top with about 1/4 cup of the chicken.
Now your dressing. Use fat free, or use a small amout of your favorite dressing, (READ the LABEL!!), afer you have splashed the salad with red wine vinegar.
You'll be full, and still withing the 15 gram fat limit.
For variety, use tuna or low fat cottage cheese to replace the chicken. Adjust the salad dressing to compensate for the fat in the tuna.
It's a numbers game...add up the fat grams of your ingredients, and be creative.
You will feel so good when you eat this salad for lunch. No more afternoon sluggishnenss from overeating carbs and fats!
