Lower cholesterol?

Will alli have lower cholesterol as one of its side effects? If some of the fat we eat is being eliminated, doesn't that mean it won't be converted into cholesterol?

That would make sense, but I am not sure. Can't you get cholesterol directly, though? I mean, if you eat cholesterol, I do not see what Alli would do.

I think that the cholesterol that we form from fats is the major problem. One of the reasons eggs were taken off the bad never never list for heart patients is that they were banned for having so much cholesterol, and most of the already formed stuff just passes right through us. The cholesterol we make in our bodies is 'stickier' or something.

I think need2lose is right. I would bet that Alli reduces cholesterol, but I do not know. I think I eat less fat on Alli anyway, so I tend to get less cholesterol.
