How many calories do you eat in a day?

How many calories do you eat in a day? Do you eat the same amount of calories when you are on Alli as when you are off.

My goal is to get down to 2000 per day for now. It doesn't seem like much of a cut, but I'm pretty heavy, so that should give me a reasonable loss rate. I'm doing this in preparation for alli. Once I start, then that same number of calories eaten won't be the same as the number my body sees!

I eat 1200 calories a day. The heavier you are the more calories you need but even at eating only 1200 calories I am not starving myself by any means. I hardly snack and I always eat until I am full during meals. I think its just a matter of switching WHAT you eat.

There are calucators out there that you can plug in your weight and they will tell you how many calories you need to maintain and how many to lose.

I think I read somewhere to lose one pound you need to cut out 3500 calories.

I am eating the same on Alli as when I wasn't.
I also know that going below 1200 calories a day is not good for your body.

I don't really pay attention to that. I am more just trying to modify my intake of food in general. I can tell by how I feel if I eat too much, and I wait till I am hungry to eat and try to eat only what it takes to make the feeling of hunger go away.

I am just basically trying not to be a glutton, which for me personally is why I am overweight

want to take diet pills

Hi friends, I want to take diet pills but I have heard there are some bad effects in taking of diet pills. Does the counter diet pill actually works? I also want to know the health effects of using diet pills are. I've heard that the pills could cause heart problems and metabolism problems. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for some diet pills that worked well and are considered relatively safe. Thank you.

I think the biggest thing is eating what you're comfortable with and trying to cut some corners on overeating at first, until you start to manage eating less. After that you should start eliminating as much as possible from your diet without starving yourself.

Starving yourself definetly does not work in the long run! I cannot cook. Luckily my husband does and will for me. I do not eat a large variety of foods but I eat what makes me happy and if I go out with my friends to local restraunt I will eat what I want in moderation. I started jogging again and taking Alli. I already feel better. P.S. grilling is the best or lower calorie and fat. Tastes great to. I am also new! I will weigh in tomorrow for the first time after 9 days. Hope to see a difference!!
