How can you forget to take it? It's a very easy thing to remember, considering you take it a few times everyday. I could understand if you took it once a week or something.
Still, I think it won't be a probably if you forget every once in a while. |

If you miss a dose, according to the consumer info:
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, but no more than 1 hour after eating a meal. If it has been more than an hour since your last meal, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at your next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose. If you miss a meal, or if you have a meal without fat, you can skip your dose of alli for that meal also. |

This is actually what I love about Alli. You don't have to maintain a specific amount in your bloodstream (in fact, it doesnt enter your bloodstream at all) in order for it to be effective. I don't feel compelled to take Alli at EVERY meal, especially if it is particularly low in fat.

I usually have just fruit for breakfast so do not take an Alli then, so take my multi-vitamin which is a gelcap, at that time. Lunch is around 3.00 p.m. and usually contains some fat so I take one Alli. By then I hope my multi-vitamin is already absorbed. Most days I take only one Alli, as lunch is my main meal. But if I go to dinner and expect to also have dessert, I take 2 Allis to absorb the extra fat.Does anyone know if this poses a problem? I never take more than 3 per day, but most days just one. If I forget to take one with a meal I just take it when I remember. My side effects are the same as everyone else's, just not in any embarrassing way. No cramping, no dripping. It is seriously expensive though......$1 per pill ($120 per bottle) which can last me 4 months if I take just one per day. I get at least 3 months from one bottle which makes it worth it to me. I really wasn't trying to lose weight at all but I did. I started taking Alli because I have a constipation problem and do not like taking laxatives. It has worked like a charm for me, but I have gone from 120 lbs. to 110 lbs. over a 6-month period. I do, however, feel much better than when I was lugging around an impacted colon. Maybe that accounted for the 10 lbs., and my stomach is as flat as a pancake.
