My Alli experience-advice for those considering

I am one of those who hasn't too much weight to lose.
I am very informed about carbs, calories, and fat content of food, having been hypoglycemia most of my life.
The thing I like about this is you won't go around feeling hungry if you play it right. I make giant salads for lunch which are very satisiying. I will be looking fo a recipe site here where I can share some of my original recipes.
I followed instructions very strictly the first week. Then I decided to push the envelope a bit and see at what point "treatment effect" came into play.
I suppose this might be hard if you have been eating a very unhealthy diet thus far.
You might have a long way to go to develop an actual liking for healthy fresh foods. In that case it would be harder for you.
The worst thing I have had to give up is eating lots of raw nuts and some of the healthy fats. Alli can't tell the difference between a healthy fat like olive oil, and an unhealthy one. I also love cheese, and have dropped that out of my diet completely for the time being.
I did reach a point where iIgot some soft stool, gas, and diarrahea. But I had pushed the envelope by adding a lot more fat than the 15 grams. Frankly I did not find the digestive changes all that bad because I tend to be constipated a lot! I feel good, and "cleaned out" now.
So my advice, if you are thinking about this drug, is give it a try.
But become very informed about food content, so you are aware when you cheat, and it's not a big mystery when you have bowel changes.
Also stay clear of restaurants until you really understand the obscenely high fat content of most restaurant oferrings.
I did lose 5 pounds in the first three weeks, and did not suffer at all.
This diet get a thumbs up from me. It's too bad the side effects got so much media attention. But our society loves a good "fart joke" so they latched onto this big time!
