What's your diet?

What foods do you eat while on Xenical? What is your diet? How often do you eat?

Is there anything you stopped eating that you used to eat before Xenical?

I'm trying to prepare by starting the diet part first. So far all I've done is cut way back on the obvious fatty things. No bacon, no ice cream, no fried foods. I'm cooking a little more now, too.

One of my favorite simple things is to bake a potato, dump some vegetables on it, and add plain fat-free yogurt instead of the sour cream I really want. It's fast, most of it happens in the microwave, and it tastes pretty good.

I've been cutting back on fats. At first it was just giving up the really obvious things, but now I'm looking at labels and estimating the fat content of meat, and writing it all down. I have a really high fat diet, it seems.

The baked potato sounds good. I like baked potato, and it seems easy to make.

Citygirl, sometimes I don't like to look at the labels because it just makes me feel bad. Anyway, I will do it because it is important.

I always feel a bit wierd scrutinizing labels. There are a lot more people doing it nowadays, though. Older people, especially those who have had health problems seem to check out everything.

I have a friend who is a vegan. He has to check out every label, and he does it thoroughly. He is looking to see if there are any animal products or not in the product.

I've decided to start actually cooking things for myself. I'm too tired during the week, so I'm going to make some things and freeze them. At least that's the plan.

I like variety. I think it is hard for me to keep a diet, because I get bored of it.

I want to report that I haven't had candy in two weeks, and had salads with low fat dressing for lunch four times last week!
