What if I have headaches already?

I think I heard someone say something about headaches. I already get a lot of headaches. If I take Xenical will it have any effect on them?

Be sure and discuss this with your doctor first. If the headaches are caused by high blood pressure, you shouldn't be taking either xenical or alli.

I'll do that then. Thanks for the tip. I sure hope that my headaches aren't caused by high blood pressure.

Well, if they are, you won't be able to take xenical and you will have to take medication. But if you still do a diet and exercise program, the exercise will do a lot to lower your blood pressure.

I think the only way you can find out if you have high blood pressure is to take a blood pressure test, which your doctor can easily do.

How high is too high when it comes to taking Xenical?

I presume that anything that is outside the top end of the normal range, something like 140/90. Is that right? Does anyone know if that is right?

Headaches a symptom of lots of things, but you should definitely get it checked out before starting an exercise program and taking xenical. It could be tension, or an allergy. I used to get a migraine every spring, a horrible thing that left me bed-ridden for a day. When I moved to a new apartment, and spring came, I didn't get the migraine. Apparently I was allergic to some pollen from a plant that grew near my old apartment building. I haven't had one since. So there can be a lot of causes.

It's just important to have it checked first. You might find out that you have a problem that is easily fixed, and that you don't need to suffer from the headaches anymore.

very low blood pressure

Hey, I am only 28 years old. I have been doing blood pressure in our AS Biology class today and I have tested my blood pressure this week which is very low and it is only 95 over 58. My teacher seemed a little concerned. I have had it taken at the doctors before and they have always said it was normal. Should I go to check it further? Please suggest me.

120/80 and lower is normal.
120/80 - 139/89 is Pre-Hypertension
140/90 - 159/99 is stage 1 hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
160/100 + stage 2 hypertension (High Blood Pressure) (dangerous).
