Are there any other medications that are similar to Xenical? What makes Xenical different?

Well, the generic name for the drug is olistat, and there are two versions, alli and xenical. alli is over-the-counter, and xenical requires a prescription. But I've never heard of anything else that works this way, or that has been thoroughly tested. Most other medications try to make you feel full or try to make you more energetic. They are usually high in caffeine.

I don't think there is anything else like it that you can take. As citygirl says, it's designed to do something totally different.
