i have been taking xenical for 6 months and have not lost any weight. i suffer from sever chronic opiate induced constipation do to a narcotic i have to take. i only have a bowel movement every 3 to 4 days and that is only after taking milk of magnesia. my stools are much softer that before i started taking xenical but, i do not experience the oliy discharge or urgent need to go to the bathroom. could the slow stool transit, do to my condition allow the fat that is to be block to still be absorbed?
please any info. would be helpful. i have contacted roche and they will not answer my question and my doctor does not know.
