I think I've partially answered your question on another tread in that Xenical is a double dose but from what I've read both online and on the information leaflet this does not mean twice the effect. In fact both advise that the percentage of fat not absorbed is the same (30%).

Obviously I'm not able to compare the two in terms of rate of weightloss. All I can say is that in 13 months of taking Xenical I've lost 70lb with only minimal side-effects.
